Brief introduction of the 6th China Harbin Fair

The 6th China Harbin Fair was held from June 15th to June 21st, 1995 in Heilongjiang International Exhibition Center. Some senior government officials presented at the opening ceremony, including Mr. Wang Guangying , the Vice- Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Peoples Congress; Mr. Chen Xinhua, the Assistant Minister of Ministry of the Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation; Mr. Yue Qifeng, the Secretary General of Heilongjiang Party Committee of CPC; Mr. Su Weiben, the Chairman of Standing Committee of the People乫s Congress of Heilongjiang province; Mr. Tian Fengshan, the Governor of Heilongjiang Province; Mr. Zhou Wenhua, the Chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of Heilongjiang Province. Meanwhile, some overseas trade delegations participated in the fair, namely, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Namibia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Romania, Poland, Canada, US, Belgium, Yugoslavia, France, DPRK as well as Thailand. Mr. Cheng Siyuan, the Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee inscribed for this Harbin fair. Mr. Davidof, the Vice Premier of the Federal Government of Russia and Mr. Luo Gaoshou, Russian Ambassador to China sent the message of congratulations respectively. On June 18th, 1995, Mr. Jiang Zemin, the General Secretary of CPC Central Committee paid an inspection tour to the 6th China Harbin Fair and wrote the following words of encouragement: Striving to make the China Harbin Fair into a grand international expo with the opening to the outside world.
